With the scheduled release date of "Total War: Warhammer" downloadable content (DLC) on Oct. 20 just around the corner, fans are already eager to know what to expect from the expansion.

According to a report by Game and Guide, fans can expect the addition of Regiment of Renown units to the ranks of Dwarfs and the Greenskins in the upcoming DLC entitled "The King and the Warlord."

The first of these is the Skyhammer Gyrobomber unit, which is a flying war machine that has the ability to drop multiple bombs at once making it an effective weapon for sky assaults.

There's also the Gob-Lobber Grudge Thrower, which from the title one can deduce that it's a catapult which launches goblins that are tied to chunks of rocks.

Next comes the Skolder Guard, which damages enemies by launching steam at the opponents, causing massive damage, especially against armored units.

Ulthars Raiders beef up the Dwarfs' Infantry unit. This ability will allow players to deal minus 22 percent missile resistance and less 16 percent armor against their enemies.

The Peak Gate Guards, on the other hand, poses a double whammy as it adds magical damage to attacks and deals a minus 32 percent armor to their enemies.

Apart from these, players can also anticipate the Norgrimlings Ironbreakers which are not prone to psychology and has the added benefit of having 20 more men within the unit.

While the Ironbreakers are immune to psychology, the Dragonback Slayers have the ability to withstand physical and well as flame attacks by up to 20 percent.

Last but not the least is the Grumbling Guard, which has the abliity to increase in size by 20 percent, the Dragonfire Pass that pose flame damage and the Eklund Miners that deals 12 percent more damage and eight percent attack.

According to a report by Christian Times, the DLC will also introduce two two legendary lords—Belegar Ironhammer and Skarsnik, who battle for the leadership of the Karak Eight Peaks.

"Total War Warhammer: The King and the Warlord" will cost $7.99 upon its release on Oct. 20.
