On the 30th of June, Sega released the DLC pack for Blood for the Blood, which contained new units as well as new campaign events. Not even a month has passed, and gaming enthusiasts have more great news on their platter. It all started when Reddit users discovered a trailer that portrayed the newest race to join the Warhammer banner.

GameSpot reports that the trailer gives away the release date for the downloadable content of Beastmen. The DLC will be available to gamers on the 28th of July. Beastmen's first gameplay was revealed on the 19th of July. Eurogamer gives out another necessary detail; the campaign pack for the new race will be available at £13.99.

The trailer portrays the Beastmen as huge, hairy creatures with impressive horns. One of them spells out their purpose, which goes, "Gather Warherds. Hunt man filth. Kill man."

The description for the video reads thus: "As the Beastmen emerge from their woodland lairs, ten thousand hooves stamp in agitated union, and a foetid musk arises from the sea of matted fur. The bray of the battle-horns pierces the gloom, and beyond: from Bordeleaux to Ostermark, the Call of the Beastmen will be heard across The Old World!"

Total War: Warhammer was launched in May, and allegedly sold more than 500,000 units in the first three days. In many forums, the game has been praised as the fastest selling title in the franchise. A review by IGN goes on to say that the game brims with exciting ideas, awesome characters, and delightful units and faction mechanics. GameSpot, meanwhile, gave the game a score of 9 on 10.

There are barely a couple of weeks to go for the big release, and the new race is said to be available across all platforms. Gamers who preorder are also in for a treat, as they can avail themselves a discount of up to 10 percent here.
