A man in China was able to capture what appears to be a mysterious winged creature flying over an area near the Chinese border with Laos. But is the video real or is it merely a hoax intended to titillate the masses?

At first, it seems like the creature in the video is simply a huge bird. But upon closer inspection, the flying creature began to resemble a dragon or even a pterodactyl.

In the YouTube video shared by ApexTV, netizens shared in the comments section different views regarding the object shown in the video clip. The description of the video reads: "A man in China took footage of this giant mysterious flying creature that was spotted near the border of Laos. Many theories have emerged with some claiming the creature is a real dragon that was caught on tape and others saying it provides evidence that pterodactyls still exist. Is this a dragon or a pterodactyl caught on tape? What do you think?"

A man named Philip L. believes the video is nothing but a hoax. "The 'dragon' seems too sharp in resolution compared with the blurry and pixelated surrounding mountains. I think it's a good CGI animation, but reminds me of those [expletive] alien videos," he said.

A user named Drererere added, "Look how foggy the mountain and surroundings are and look how clear the dragon is. Good but not good enough."

But a woman named JoyMcFly would beg to differ. "It's real," she attested. "With all the [expletive] weather and natural disasters [going on], I'm sure a lot of creatures are starting to come back."

Dale Dorsett also agreed with her. "It appears to be a dragon to me," he wrote. "I have no doubt that the hundreds of civilisations recording about dragons and dinosaurs and HUGE giants existing in the [past] with such accuracy in drawings, description, carvings, and statues should present credibility."

Meanwhile, Charisma News reported that if the dragon was indeed real, then it could be a sign of the end of times. In the Bible, John described a dragon in his vision of the end of days.
