The Washington Wizards head to Canada today, Friday, for their last preseason game and hopefully a win taking on the Toronto Raptors at the Bell Centre.

Washington is coming off a 110–105 defeat to the Miami Heat in their last preseason game which ended a three-game winning streak.

In the loss to Miami, all five starters for the Wizards scored in double-digits and were led by center Marcin Gortat's double-double performance.

Gortat scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, also having one assist and four blocks in 32 minutes of action.

Following him was another big man in Kris Humphries who also contributed a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, plus two steals.

The Wizards also had offensive contributions from point guard John Wall and forward Otto Porter Jr. who each poured 14 points against the Heat.

Friday's game facing the Raptors will be the last in the Wizards' preseason schedule as they get ready to open the 2015–16 regular season on Oct. 28 taking on the Orlando Magic.

Unlike the Wizards, the Raptors won in their last preseason outing facing the Cleveland Cavaliers 87–81 and improved their record to 4–2.

Leading Toronto was center Jonas Valančiūnas who scored 12 points, together with four rebounds and two steals.

Point guard Cory Joseph, who was signed by the Raptors to a four-year deal in the offseason from the San Antonio Spurs, added 11 points, two rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block.

Toronto's game against the Wizards will be before the team's season opener on Oct. 28 when it hosts the Indiana Pacers.

The matchup today will be a rematch of last season's first round series between the two where the Wizards advanced in the second round by sweeping Toronto.

The game between the Wizards and Raptors will take place today, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here.
