Christian artist Kari Jobe has been blessed with a loving union with husband Cody Carnes, and she even described her marriage to him as "a taste of heaven."

So when it comes to finding the right person to spend the rest of one's life with, Jobe sure knows a thing or two and she has shared her thoughts about love on the new book by Jimmy Evans and Frank Martin entitled The Right One.

Jobe wrote the foreword for the book, which helps readers date and marry the right person. The book not only helps singles navigate the dating field correctly, but also provides insight for couples who plan on getting married.

In her Facebook page, Jobe advised people searching for a spouse that God has someone special intended for them and that they should not be so much in a rush to find someone to be with that they miss out on God's wonderful plan for them.

"If there is one message I'd like to relay to those who are still searching for a spouse, it would be this: don't allow yourself to get so caught up in the idea of marriage that you miss the voice of the Holy Spirit," she said.

Jobe herself can attest to this because things fell into place and God's plan finally made sense when she met and later married Carnes. "It's worth waiting on God's man for you cause it makes your heart happy and peaceful," she said.

Carnes and Jobe built their relationship around God, and even during their wedding, they made time to worship Him. "It was the strongest presence of God I have ever felt," the singer described. "Getting married made me think of how much God longs to come back for us as His bride. He loves us and loves to pour out His spirit and presence over us but being with Him in heaven when He comes back for us will be so incredible. Thank you Lord, for letting us experience a taste of your glory here on earth."
