Microsoft, over the past few months, has pushed for seamless gaming between the Xbox One and Windows 10 with new updates like Xbox Play Anywhere. Now they have announced several brand new features during the Microsoft Windows Event held in New York City, and these features are specifically directed towards gamers.

According to Tech Crunch, these new features for Windows 10 are designed to enhance the gaming experience players have when using a PC. More specifically, these features are referred to as the "Creators Update." This guarantees that Microsoft is not just concentrating their gaming efforts solely on the Xbox One.

Beam Integration is the first major upgrade. This feature is similar to Playstation Live, and it will be available for both Windows 10 and Xbox One. Beam Integration will allow users to instantly stream or interact with streamers such as giving suggestions or reactions. It will allow gamers to stream, on either platform, without the need for special hardware or software.

Arena on Xbox Live is the second new feature that is going to be to Windows 10 and Xbox One. This new feature will allow gamers to easily create, manage, or join their own tournaments. Once the initial setup is complete, the program will automatically keep track of scores, rank, and other important details in competitive gaming.

Bitstream audio pass will also be added for Windows 10, and this feature will enable full Dolby Atmos support with Blu-Ray games. This may not mean much for some, but the better audio quality will be crucial for gamers with a large, home theater setup.

None of these updates have been released, but they are scheduled to launch sometime in early 2017. A more specific release date has not been announced, but it is likely that Microsoft will release the game relatively close to the launch of the Redstone 2 update for Windows 10.
