Wrestlemania 32 news: All plans scrapped for WWE PPV in 2016?

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) knows that they have their work cut out for them as far as trying to fill up the AT&T Stadium for Wrestlemania 32 is concerned, but now, the company has reportedly found itself back to square one.

All rumored matches that include The Undertaker taking on John Cena and even that match pitting Triple H vs. Roman Reigns have allegedly been scrapped, reported Inquisitr, citing Dave Meltzer of F4W Online. This means that it will take a whole wave of new rumors to shape up the annual WWE pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza.

Starting from scratch could be disastrous at this point but then again, the WWE is not left with much of a choice. With injuries to key stars whittling down the roster, the WWE may only have a handful of stars to work with unless they start to make some calls on inactive WWE stars or even call up the former ones at that.

Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, and Cesaro are injured and will most likely be unable to come back by April. Daniel Bryan is status quo as well, so most of the big names are pretty much questionable.

Hence, it may be anyone's guess right now on who will be the new face of the WWE as the company is already struggling as it is. The ratings haven't improved and have actually pummeled lately, suggesting that the WWE needs to pull off something drastic (or dramatic) to make sure they don't bomb out further.

Cena is likely to return by the time WWE Royal Rumble comes around, although it remains to be seen if he will make a go for the U.S. title or perhaps eye the WWE heavyweight title instead and join the Reigns vs. Sheamus party.

This is, of course, with the assumption that his rumored battle with the Undertaker is done and over with.

What about Brock Lesnar? What will the Beast be feasting his eyes on? Why not the WWE title?

If Reigns is able to snag the title from Sheamus, that could be something worth considering. The two went at it at Wrestlemania 31, so why not do it again at Wrestlemania 32? And this time, there will be no cash-ins!

Right now, it is all touch and go if rumors are true that all has been scrapped. With about five months to go, it will be an interesting route ahead for the WWE and its plans for Wrestlemania 32.
