Paul Randall Wight, famously known as "Big Show", confirmed in an interview by Shanghai Daily that he will be facing basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal on Wrestlemania 33 at Orlando, Florida on 2017.

"We'll have one heck of a match and we'll see what's up. We'll give the fans a treat," he said.

It will not be the first time that the two faced off for a match. Shaquille O'Neal got the 7'0 feet tall Big Show out of the ring on WWE Raw of 2009.

O'Neal astounded fans when he showed up at Wrestlemania 32 in the 3rd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to face Big Show. The match didn't come to a conclusion as O'Neal and Big Show got ousted by the other wrestlers.

Big Show challenged O'Neal at the ESPY Awards for another match at next year's Wrestlemania. O'Neal asked if Show is serious about the challenge where he answered "Sure! I don't have much time left, I'd rather have some fun with you."

The 44 year old wrestler decided that it's about time to retire after his fruitful career in wrestling. "I've had a 21-year career. I'm looking forward to retirement actually. It'd be nice to actually see my family. I've earned my limited schedule and now it's the twilight for me. I get to do media, talk to fans, and tour the world and go out with a nice casual wave goodbye; and I'm happy with that," he said.

He stated that his life has been complete and that he don't have to ask for anything as wrestling brought him recognition and gave meaning to his life. One of his achievements was when he defeated Hulk Hogan in his debut match for the World Championship Wrestling and received the World Heavyweight Championship belt in October 1995.

"I didn't realize until after I really got into the business, met all the guys in the locker room, and went up and down the road, that I found something that was going to heal my soul and complete my life and make me understand why I was put on this planet and what I was meant to do," he said in the interview by Shanghai Daily.

The face-off between Shaq and Show at Wrestlemania 33 could be the last match of the "world's largest athlete" as dubbed by WWE.
