"WWE" game fans have something to be happy about -- the game's release month has been uncovered and the game will be ready around October. Thanks to the company's yearly fiscal report, fans will not be guessing anymore.

Take-Two Interactive Software, the parent company of 2K Sports and Rockstar Games, has published its 2016 fiscal report which mentions the scheduled release of some of their upcoming games. However, no exact date is available for the "WWE 2K17," and the video game consoles that it will be coming to are not mentioned either.

Attack of the Fanboy reported that since "WWE" games are mostly released on the last Tuesday of October, it is then speculated that an Oct. 25 release date would be possible. It is also speculated that the upcoming "WWE 2K17" will only be released for the current-gen consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players have already noticed, that for the past two years, the "WWE 2K15"and "2K16" versions for the last-gen consoles are not equal to the gameplay offered by the current-gen ones. They are even wondering why these games were developed for the older-generation platforms.

However, the upcoming "Madden NFL 17" from EA Sports will be released for current and last-gen consoles, so there is a possibility that Take-Two may release their game on all four as well.

Wrestling fans are also anticipating a lot of "WWE" superstars to be included in the upcoming game. "WWE 2K16" already included a 120-strong roster, but the latest game is rumored to include more, said to be the biggest in the franchise history.

Tech News Today reported that AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and former WWE Women's Champion Alundra Blayze/Madusa have already performed body scans for the game. Bray Wyatt and Brie Bella also underwent body scans previously. There were several more included.

Fans are looking forward to seeing AJ Styles grace the cover of the soon-to-be-released "WWE 2K17."
