Gamescom 2016 in Cologne, Germany was pretty interesting with the apperance of Bill Goldberg, where he told fans about a possible return to the WWE as well as things about Brock Lesnar.

According to the PW Mania, Goldberg said that instead of Lesnar, he should be on the cover because he "killed" him. Furthermore, he will be heading to New York City, and as of now it is the only thing he can divulge after fans started chanting for him to come back. However, he assured everyone that his advancing age is not an issue for him to go ahead and rip people's faces off once again.

His return to Brooklyn coincides with the the WWE SummerSlam's actual location, so a lot of rumors point out that the wrestler might make an appearance at this event. However, Inqusitr points out that he will be representing 2K Sports and their new "WWE 2k17" video game.

However, the same article also says that it could be possible for WWE to make Goldberg do more than what is currently planned. After all, it is rumored that the higher-ups are having a bit of internal discussions about Goldberg's appearance at SummerSlam to face Brock Lesnar. It is possible for it to be just through a video feed, but having him personally appear could be a huge moment for WWE.

As fans could remember, the last time Lesnar and Goldberg faced off, fans did not like it. After all, back in Wrestlemania 20 Stone Cold Steve Austin was there as their guest referee, but the two wrestlers picked the wrong time to tell everyone they were going to quit WWE, with the former going for NFL and the latter just retiring.

As such, if ever the rumors turn out to be true, fans will have a different reaction should they face off in the ring once again.
