WWE rumors 2016: Will Kevin Owens mix and match soon?

Kevin Owens embodies someone who could rise among the ranks with the right push. But the question is where?

So far, the brash Canadian has made a name for himself with his insults and mind games backing up his wise ring skills. As a wrestler, there is no doubt Owens is someone who can someday be a top World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star.

Unfortunately, that doesn't cover his character for now. So far, he has been consistent as a heel but the thing is his runs and storylines seem to end too soon.

Could that be a lack of confidence on the part of the WWE on Owens? The last lengthy feud he had was with John Cena for the U.S. title, but everyone knows that the last match between the two didn't exactly impress.

So if there is something that the WWE must do with Owens is build up his character and hone up his skills a bit more. Of the two, however, it is how to get Owens connected with fans that needs more attention.

His last feud with Dean Ambrose was a classic, although it didn't turn out that hot in the initial stages. Their match at the 2016 Royal Rumble was one for the books, but it seems that is the end of that.

So moving forward, why not have Owens feud with A.J. Styles? Styles isn't exactly a new name in the world of wrestling but is obviously someone on the rise.

Owens was the same person who eliminated Styles with the famous welcoming remarks. After that, there were many who felt that such could be a good storyline to consider which could help both stars and the WWE gain new ground.

Sadly, nothing has materialized so far, but it could be an option for Owens. But whomever Owens faces, hopefully it boosts his stock, with heel wrestlers being taken down by injuries one after the other.
