According to Trusted Reviews, the Xiaomi Mi 4, which was launched in August last year, has been successful and was commended for its design and fast performance. Here's the difference between the Xiaomi Mi 4 and the new Xiaomi Mi 5 in terms of specs.

The Xiaomi Mi 4 handset sports a 5 inch IPS LCD display screen with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. On the other hand, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to sport a slightly larger 5.2 inch LCD display screen with QHD 1440x2560 resolution and will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

The Xiaomi Mi 4 has a 13 mega pixel camera on the back and an 8 mega pixel camera on the front. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to come with an improved 16 mega pixel rear camera and a 6 mega pixel front-facing camera, according to earlier rumors. According to a recent leak that appeared in Chinese website Weibo, the Xiaomi Mi 5 might have a sharper 13 mega pixel front-facing camera instead.

Internally, the Mi 4 comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB RAM and up to 64 GB internal memory storage. The Mi 5 is expected to come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor, possibly 4 GB RAM and up to 64 GB Internal memory.

GSM Arena reports that the official specs of the Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus have been leaked once again along with new images. It is now expected that the Mi 5 Plus will not have a 23 mega pixel camera and a 12 mega pixel front camera, but will instead come with a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 4 mega pixel camera on the front.

The Mi 4 is powered by a non-removable 3080 mAh battery while the Mi 5 is expected to have a 3000 mAh battery. The Mi 5 Plus will pack a massive 3500 mAh battery.
