Last week on "The Young and the Restless," Paul asked Jack if he should arrest Victor. Jack told him about what went on in the park, and Paul pointed out that Gabe said he was unarmed when he was shot.

Outside Jack's hospital room, Adam argued with Phyllis and Ashley. Adam was warned that if Victor wasn't going to jail, then he might as well prepare to spend some time behind bars. Paul came out of Jack's room and asked Adam to come with him to headquarters to talk about his statement. Adam went into Jack's room and asked him why he was covering for Victor. Jack accused him of letting Victor try to destroy him. Jack said he couldn't even imagine telling Phyllis that Marco was in her bed while pretending to be him. He ordered Adam to keep quiet or he'd tell everyone that he's really Adam and not Gabriel Bingham. He said if the truth about Marco came out, then everyone would know about Adam, too.

Meanwhile at the Club, Neil informed Nikki that Jack was awake. Nikki wanted to know if Victor has been lying to her when Victor appeared. He told them that Jack was awake and that Gabriel was a liar and was out at Newman. Victor asked Neil to stay out of their conversation, but when Nikki refused to speak to him, Victor headed out. Later, Victor ran into Ashley, and she told him that Jack backed up his story.

Adam arrived at the police station, and Christine and Paul questioned him about the shooting. Adam said that he didn't see the shooting and that he only saw Jack on the ground after being shot. Paul asked about the gun with Jack's fingerprints, and Adam said that mistakes were made. After Adam left, Paul thought that something' was not right and that Victor had something on Adam.
