After the second episode aired, fans are now excited to see Meemaw in episode 3 of CBS' sitcom "Young Sheldon." The series received impressive ratings from critics after two episodes. Titled "Rockets, Communists, and the Dewey Decimal System," episode 2 is all about young Sheldon Cooper's (Iain Armitage) adventure in making friends. The episode also included a notable reference to the main series "The Big Bang Theory" about Sheldon buying Uranium for a model rocket.

The episode also highlighted Sheldon's fondness of being alone or one with the universe. In the upcoming episode, Sheldon's grandmother or Meemaw, portrayed by veteran actress Annie Potts, will make her debut. According to the sneak peek of episode 3 titled "Poker, Faith, and Eggs," Meemaw will convince Sheldon to lie to his mother.

With Meemaw set to appear, many fans are asking if Sheldon's grandfather, "Pop-pop," will also be included. According to the older Sheldon (Jim Parsons), his grandfather was the only person who supported his dream to become a scientist. There is also no confirmation from the directors if the series will feature younger versions of Leonard, Howard, Raj, Penny, Bernadette, and Amy.

According to TVGuide, the pilot episode delivered 17.2 million viewers. The second episode had 12.66 million viewers as reported by TV By The Numbers. The show is doing well so far according to online ratings. It received a 76% rating from Rotten Tomatoes citing the "appealing cast and relatable themes" to be the strongest parts of the show. Parsons is also helping Armitage to fully catch the essence of young Sheldon's character. During an interview at "The Ellen Show", Armitage expressed his excitement and joy in working with Parsons.

Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" and "Young Sheldon" can catch new episodes of their favorite shows every Thursday. "The Big Bang Theory" airs at at 8 p.m. EST and "Young Sheldon" 8:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
