There have been many movies about the late rapper Tupac Shakur, and another one is about to drop in cinemas on what would have been the rapper's 46th birthday — June 16. "All Eyez on Me" may be another biopic about Shakur, but the makers are promising a unique perspective on the rapper's life.

The film follows Shakur's journey from his seminal days in New York to becoming one of the world's most influential and controversial rap artists.

Shakur was an artist, a rapper, a poet, and a record producer. To some he was a druggie, a gangster, a criminal. Unfortunately, he died at the young age of 25 when he was shot in his vehicle. It was September of 1996 when his car stopped at a red light and he was shot inside his vehicle. His legacy lived on long after his death as his records would still sell even after he had already left.

The movie is a biopic of "the untold story" of Shakur. The official trailer of the upcoming film shows Shakur before he was a big star. There was a lot of dialogue and copy on how he wanted to bring change, revolutionize, and bring together the black gangs.

Demetrius Shipp Jr. plays Shakur in the said film. Shipp shared with the Los Angeles Times that he sees through Shakur. People may think badly of how the rap superstar did things or how he lived his life but according to Shipp, Shakur was who he was because of where he came from. "They'll judge you by what you do, but they never know what you had to choose from," the actor stated.

On talking about the film and what it has to offer, he shared, "It shows a Pac you can't see anywhere else."
