Android 4.4.3 release for HTC One M8 and HTC One M8 GPE May-June, still in testing phase

HTC One M8

The owners of Nexus and Google Play Edition devices are awaiting the imminent arrival of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update.

And HTC developer LlabTooFer says HTC One M8 and HTC One M8 GPE owners will be getting their hands on their update very soon too.

LlabTooFeR reports that the Android 4.4.3 (GPE) and Android 4.4.3 + Sense 6.0 have been confirmed for a May-June roll out for the One (M8) and are still undergoing tests.

The One (M7) will be getting the 4.4.3 (GPE) and Android 4.4.2 + Sense 6.0 in the same time frame, but the Android 4.4.3 + Sense 6.0 will be coming slightly later, confirmed for a June-July release.

However, the Android 4.3 + Sense 5.5 update has been cancelled for the Dual SIM M7C and an Android 4.4.3 GPE update is "not planned". Instead, it will be getting the Android 4.4.2 + Sense 6.0 in the May-June roll out.

Bad news for older device owners though as LlabTooFer reports that the HTC Butterfly, HTC One X, One X+, and One XL will not get any further software updates.

HTC One Butterfly devices have been thrown a small bone with the Android 4.4.2+Sense 6.0 update for Droid.
