There will be plenty of excitement in store when Attack on Titan returns for its second season, including a revolt from the citizens against their corrupt rulers and the rebellion will be led by Captain Erwin Smith.

According to a report by Parent Herald, Krista's true identity will also be revealed.

In the previous season, Krista is only known one of the 10 best soldiers of the 104th Training Corps who joined the Survey Corps along with Eren Yeager, a titan shifter.

Based on the rumors, her true parentage will be unveiled in the upcoming season as well as her real name. Apparently, the soldier is actually a member of the Reiss family and her real name is Historia Reiss.

A secret power will be the main storyline for Ymir as he will be revealed to have the ability to transform into a Titan himself. However, he cannot grow as big as the others so it will be interesting to explore this limit to his power.

A report by Morning Ledger, on the other hand speculated that the anime will follow the events of the manga faithfully and reveal the identities of the Armored Titan and the Colossal Titan.

According to the site, the manga has already revealed the Armored Titan to be Renier Braun while the Colossal Titan was unveiled as Berolt Hoover, who were also part of the Survey Corps at the top ranks of the squad.

The two titans who were behind the breach of the Wall Rose have the ability to shift into giant humanoids when wounded.

Another character to watch out for is called the Beast, who is very interesting because he has a high IQ similar to a human. As a titan shifter, his human form will be known as Zeke.
