While there is no official information released regarding the second season of "Attack on Titan," several rumors about the anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama's best-selling manga have started to leak online.

One of the speculations about "Attack on Titan" season 2's plot came from a leaked video posted on YouTube by a user named Sarah Tilgner. According to the video's description, "Upon discovering a Titan hidden inside the Wall, Pastor Nick desperately requests that Squad Leader Hanji Zoe cover it before sunlight can make it active. Questions arise... questions to which humanity may not be ready to hear the answers."

Meanwhile, a report from KDrama Starz revealed that the second season of "Attack on Titan" will cover the fifth story under the "Clash of Titans" arc, where the gigantic creatures are detained inside the city walls. The report also mentioned that 104 trainees' squad will be facing these giant humanoids in several bloody fights in order to survive, but the battles come with a twist. Based on the arc, the trainees have no idea that the Titans that they are fighting with are actually members of their own team. One of those who will be surprised when the truth was revealed was Eren Yeager, the protagonist of the story.

Crossmap also revealed several speculations about "Attack on Titan" season 2, which include the appearance of a new ape-like Titan who can actually talk and has the intelligence of a human, the ability of the Reiss family, where Eren's friend Krista Lenz really belongs.

There are no reports yet regarding the official release date of "Attack on Titan" season 2, but if spoilers will turn out to be true, fans of the popular Japanese anime will have to wait until Summer 2016 to catch its premiere episode.
