'Ballers' season 1 spoilers: Ricky goes bananas

Ricky flies off the handle in the upcoming episode of "Ballers." Facebook/HBO

Viewers will see Ricky (John David Washington) lose his marbles in the upcoming episode of HBO's comedy series "Ballers."

In "Ends," TV.com reports that the pro-athlete will lose his legendary cool. Will it be because his girlfriend Annabella (Anabelle Acosta) does not want to listen to reason anymore? Or will it be triggered by Alonzo (Antoine Harris) and his mother, whom he cannot seem to get away from no matter how he tries? Meanwhile, Jason (Troy Garity) will finally meet his mother's new boyfriend and Spencer (Dwayne Johnson) and Charles (Omar Miller) will say adieu to Rodney (LaRoyce Hawkins).

Last episode, Spencer had to reschedule his magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) after getting that disappointing call from Vernon (Donovan W. Carter). While talking to on-again, off-again girlfriend Tracy (Arielle Kebbel) over the phone, he admitted that he was actually scared that all the hits he took back in his pro-athlete years had taken a toll on his health. Unfortunately, she did not hear the admission because her phone lost the signal.

Ricky got into trouble again, as Alonzo's mother had been talking to TMZ about their brief affair. Spencer came to his rescue, arranging a tell-all interview with an old pal to get Ricky air his side. The interview got a tad too personal, as Ricky was asked why he offered Alonzo $40,000 for his old "18" number. He then admitted that his father, who sported the "81" during his own career, had left him and his mom years ago. He wore the "18" as a sort of "upside down middle finger" for the old man. Annabella was not pleased with what she learned, and she headed out of the door with Ricky trailing after her.

Meanwhile, after a brief reprieve, Charles went back to his old life. His wife Julie (Jazmyn Simon) welcomed him back with open arms, but not before getting a small revenge by pushing him into the pool.

"Ballers" airs Sunday at 10 p.m. EST on HBO.
