Two struggling teams in the American Football Conference (AFC) North will collide today, Monday, when the Cleveland Browns host the Baltimore Ravens at the FirstEnergy Stadium.

The Ravens are currently third in the division with a 3–7 record, while the Browns sit on the last spot with a 2–8 record.

Baltimore will be heading to the match against the Browns having former backup Matt Schaub as its new starting quarterback, after franchise passer Joe Flacco suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) in Week 11's 16–13 victory over the St. Louis Rams.

Today's showdown with Cleveland will be the first game Schaub plays this season, but the veteran is no stranger to being a starter as he had that role in his stint with the Houston Texans.

In a report on the Ravens' website, head coach John Harbaugh was pleased with Schaub's performance practicing with the starters last week.

Harbaugh stated Saturday, "Matt brings a unique skillset to the table and does a really good job with the things he does well. So, I'm excited to see how he's going to play Monday night, and I expect he's going to play very well."

As the Ravens prepare with a new quarterback, the Browns are returning to their initial quarterback, veteran Josh McCown, to start the season.

McCown was not the original starter for the Browns heading to Sunday's game though, as head coach Mike Pettine first announced Johnny Manziel as their starter against the Ravens.

Manziel had a good performance in their Week 10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers which earned him the starting nod.

But a video of the 22-year-old partying during their bye week surfaced and because of this, the Browns decided to go with McCown.

In seven games played and started this season, the 36-year-old veteran has 165 completions for 1,897 yards and 11 touchdowns, also throwing four interceptions.

Both the Ravens and the Browns are seeking to improve their record and slim playoff chances when they square off today, Monday, at 8:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.

Faith is often accompanied by uncertainty, yet it is in stepping forward that we encounter the power of God. The Israelites learned this at the Jordan River, where God performed a miracle only after they demonstrated obedience.
