Battlefield 1 maps rumors: St. Quentin's Scar, Amiens, Empire's Edge, Monte Grappa, Argonne Forest, Chateau, Suez to be part of new maps

While Battlefield fans are currently exploring the Sinai desert through the open beta, one Reddit user has uncovered the names of the other maps.

The Sinai desert map, which is made up of sandstorms, challenges players with options of close combat or open space engagements with the use of multiple weapons and vehicles like tanks, buggies, tanks and planes. Initial feedback on the map have been generally positive but players are clamoring for jungle warfare and urban combat, iTechPost reported.

DICE, the studio behind the game may actually be listening to fan requests as its Twitter account has been swamped with feedback, 24/7 reported

Initial reviews for the beta by Kotaku game reviewer Heather Alexander lauded the game's excitement factor and gave tips in navigating the game.

"Battlefield 1 is packed to the brim with dangers and you might think that your arsenal of grenades, machine guns, and bullets will be enough to save you and send these beasts to the glue factory in the sky. But make no mistake: you are not safe and, dare I say, these terrifying monsters will eat you up like plate of horse d'oeuvres. Stirrup your courage if you can but there's one thing you mustang understand: the horse always wins. If you see one of these devils? Bale," she said.

Meanwhile, based on the details discovered by Reddit user "1033149", the  Battlefield 1 map may include St. Quentin's Scar, Amiens, Empire's Edge, Monte Grappa, Argonne Forest, Chateau, Suez, and another mystery map.

While this is not official, this could mean good news for fans of the game because this would mean that their request for a more diverse terrain may be granted given the different maps leaked by the Reddit user.

The beta for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Origin for PC will be available until September 8.
