Chicago Bulls rumors 2015: Derrick Rose's double vision not going away anytime soon [VIDEO]

For the past days, Derrick Rose's name has been floated around in possible trade scenarios which are largely tied up with his subpar play.

Apparently, some folks have forgotten that injury that Rose befell when training camp started, an orbital fracture that sidelined the former National Basketball Association (NBA) Most Valuable Player (MVP) for majority of the preseason games.

To some, the injury doesn't sound that serious if you compare it to his knees, but it does pose problems particularly for his vision. For the ones who followed his condition, it will be recalled that Rose is suffering from double vision headed in the regular NBA wars.

With that in mind, he has struggled and has been inconsistent in Chicago's early season run, averaging only 12.6 points and 6.0 assists per game. For the average player, those could be satisfactory numbers but the thing is Rose is a superstar who has problems.

Right now, his double-vision issues continue and Rose admits that he is playing with practically one eye. So how long will the double-vision plague Rose?

According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg reveals that Rose is likely to deal with the double vision issue for at least the next three months.

With that in mind, one can just imagine the handicap that the Bulls have to deal with right now. So, would it be wise to play him sparingly until he does get his 20/20 vision back? Well, the answer to that is all up to Hoiberg.

But from the looks of it, a vision-hampered Rose is better than having none (with reference to his forgettable seasons that held him out due to knee injury).

All the Bulls can do right now is hope that Rose's double vision improves soon unless someone from the roster steps up. Rose is unlikely to mind that from happening as long as his team makes a good account of itself.
