'Criminal Minds' season 10 episode 11 preview: Team heads to Utah, JJ relives the past

Each week this season, "Criminal Minds" gets more intense, and in the next two episodes, fans can expect even more from the BAU team.

In episode 10 titled "Amelia Porter," the team will set off for another adventure, and its synopsis reads: "The BAU investigate a triple homicide in Salt Lake City and the probe reveals there may be a connection between the victims and a fugitive killer."

The killer, who has been a fugitive for many years, might have a connection with the UnSub.  "Amelia Porter" will air Dec. 10, which means that there will be no episode this coming week.

For episode 11 titled "Forever People," there's new information about AJ Cook's character, Jennifer "JJ" Jareau. According to  TV Guide, JJ starts to show signs of post-traumatic stress disorder caused by her abduction in the 200th episode of the series.  Her job, according to the site, is not affected, although, as executive producer Erica Messer puts it, "it's coming out in unexpected ways. She's kind of internalizing it."

The problem here is that JJ may be internalizing the wrong way and giving in to her PTSD. She may have mood swings, and she can be panicky and anxious, too. JJ may explode on anyone or be triggered by anything. It appears that JJ will be somewhat unstable in this upcoming episode.

But Carter Matt does note that hearing this news is actually good news for JJ, a character who hasn't been in the spotlight for a while now. Given different factors as well as the hype over Jennifer Love Hewitt joining the team, it's good to know that the show is still developing JJ's character. Last episode, it was time for Rossi's character, so this might be a new pattern for the current season.
