Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, who suffered a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot during their season opener, went through a bone graft as a part of his surgery. The team is hopeful for his early return.

The Cowboys are expecting Bryant to be back after four to six weeks, just in time when they again take on the New York Giants whom they already defeated in their season opener.

Bryant suffered the injury in their opener, having five receptions for 48 yards before leaving in the second half.

The initial timetable given by the Cowboys to Bryant might not be followed because the bone graft may keep him out for ten to 12 weeks, according to Yahoo Sports.

Although Bryant tweeted about the reports stating he will be out for a longer time and said, "Whenever the media can't talk to me.. Reports get made like this..10 to 12 weeks... we will just see how long I'm out lol .. Go cowboys!!"

Despite the reports, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett stays positive regarding Bryant's condition.

"In Dez's case, we want to give him every opportunity to be back as soon as he can. We're optimistic that he can be back soon, and obviously he's an impact player for us," Garrett said Friday.

Bryant has been huge for the Cowboys since arriving in 2010 as the team's 24th overall pick in the draft.

Last season, the 26-year-old Pro Bowler had 88 receptions for 1,320 yards and a career-high 16 touchdowns.

But so far, the Cowboys are faring well without Bryant as they are still undefeated this season after a 20–10 win over the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday.

Without Bryant, wide receiver Terrance Williams stood out among other receivers having four receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown against Philadelphia.

The Cowboys will have a tall task ahead as their Week 3 opponents are the Atlanta Falcons, who are also unbeaten in their first two games this season.

More recently, I’ve enjoyed Christian movies Unsung Hero and Jesus Revolution on limited release in the UK, but it’s rare for such films to make the multiplex chains.
