The official cast announcement isn't until March 4, but rumors have been swirling on 'confirmed' cast members – and many of them include athletes.

It has been rumored that an athlete who participated in the 2014 Sochi Olympics will be among the new Dancing with the Stars season 18 cast.

Could ice dance gold medalists Meryl Davis and/or Charlie White be cast on the show? The pair previously expressed interest in joining the reality dancing competition. The Olympians told Us Weekly that they would "love" to compete on Dancing With the Stars if they were asked. "I mean, if we were invited... we would love to do it," said Davis.

Retired hockey player Sean Avery was reportedly asked to join the show. Avery is said to have agreed and has been working out with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson to get into shape, according to New York Post.

Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow and former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis have also been asked to dance on the show.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson told Access Hollywood earlier this week that he was invited to join the dancing show twice. However, whether he will join this season is still up in the air as he needs to focus on his booming football career now.

Wilson said in the interview, "I'm gonna do it, at some point. I'll definitely do it. I love 'Dancing with the Stars.' I love watching. I love dancing, too, myself. So hopefully I could win."

He continued, "I'm trying to do as much as I can in terms of winning football games for the Seattle Seahawks and our franchise. But I will do it, at some point, for sure."
