Donald Trump approval rating 2017 update: Trump hits another new low rating

A year after Donald Trump took the presidential seat at the White House, his approval rating has slowly been going down. In the past few months, his rating has been going down faster than ever with new recent polls giving him another new low rating.

One of the polls conducted by the Pew Research Center only reached a 32-percent approval rating. The poll was conducted a few weeks ago, around the end of November. Taking into context the political events of that time, this was when President Trump got himself involved in the investigation of the Russian interference during their 2016 election, and it was also when he made the public campaign against sexual misconduct, which is currently still ongoing.

Majority of that 32 percent approval rate came from supporters of his party. However, even then, within his party and its supporters, the approval rate went lower than previous polls. Back in February, this was at 84 percent, but recently, it was at only 76 percent. Although that is not much of a difference, anyone can note the slow decline.

As for supporters of Trump himself, not everyone is completely satisfied with how he has been doing. 40 percent were disappointed in his attitude in government-related issues while 26 percent disliked how he portrays himself in public.

President Trump, meanwhile, chose to focus on polls that show him in a good light, just like in previous polls. This time, he chose to focus on a poll by Morning Consult and Politico, showed a 45-percent approval rating which was slightly bigger than last week percentage at 43.

Trump is not new to making things look brighter than it really seems. Whenever confronted by a poll that gives him a low rating, he would call it out saying that it is fake news. This exact scenario happened back in April when Wall Street Journal and NBC News poll showed a 40 percent approval rate.
