Sony revealed their schedule for their upcoming PlayStation 2017 press conference during the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017.

According to reports, the PlayStation Media Showcase is scheduled at The Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall located in Los Angeles, California on Monday, June 12, at 6 p.m. PDT/9 p.m. EDT or June 13 at 2 a.m. BST/11 a.m. AEST. The schedule was similar to the company's press briefing last year at the annual video game trade show.

The invite for the press conference was posted by The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley on his Twitter account.

However, no further details have been revealed regarding the items that the company will share during the press conference, but speculations claim that it will unveil more information about some of their highly-anticipated games like "Days Gone," "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," as well as "The Last of Us Part 2."

Other reports also claim that while Sony will continue with its E3 tradition, other gaming companies opted to implement some changes in their own schedules.

Microsoft's Xbox Press Briefing, which normally coincides with Sony's schedule, announced that they will conduct their press conference a day earlier this year. Instead of the Monday schedule, Microsoft will occupy the stage on Sunday, June 11 at 2 p.m. PDT/5 p.m. EDT. It will be held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. This will reportedly happen alongside Bethesda's own press conference.

On the other hand, EA Play's press briefing for E3 2017 will be held on Saturday, June 10. Nintendo will still be absent during the upcoming trade show this year. Other game developers like Square Enix and Ubisoft have yet to announce their plans for the upcoming E3 2017.

More details are expected to be revealed regarding Sony's press conference for E3 2017, including their exclusive game launches and other information regarding their game console platform in the coming days.
