There are only a few weeks left until the possibly most anticipated game in the "Far Cry" franchise, "Far Cry 5," arrives. The developers recently released a half-hour prequel to the game and to many, it is nothing short of amazing. Those who have not watched it yet, especially those who plan to get the game, can now watch the video on Amazon Prime.

The prequel entitled "Far Cry 5: Inside Eden's Gate," as how the film is described, provides a good background to the storyline of the game when it comes out. It introduces the Eden's Gate that serves as the antagonistic force of the game including its head, Joseph Seed.

The video starts off by showing a group of vloggers who plan to travel to Hope County, the setting of the game, to investigate on a certain cult, which is known as the Eden's Gate. Of course, things do not go as planned. As for what happens next, people will just have to watch the video to find out.

For those who have not heard of it, the prequel film is actually a live-action movie. It features Greg Byrk from "A History of Violence" and Kyle Gallner from "American Sniper." Barry Battles who also directed "The Baytown Outlaws" and "Night Watch," has directed the film.are

As for the game itself, there had been numerous news about the storyline, aside from the prequel film, and the gameplay itself. Hope County is a fictional place but is definitely inspired by real places that players will get to feel in the game. The combat is more action-packed as even the animals can be a friend or a foe.

"Far Cry 5" is set to come out on March 27, 2018. It is going to be playable on the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and PC. Again, players can watch the film entirely for free on Amazon Prime.
