Get ready for more "Far Cry."

"Far Cry 5" is set to drop on almost all video gaming consoles next year. The fifth installment of the franchise will have the players back to surviving the harsh environment with the help of their wits, the strength of their wills, and the power of their big guns. It has been a couple of years since the last main installment in the video game series, and this new title will have more of the game's theme but mixed a different setting.

According to Telegraph, "Far Cry 5" will be set in Hope County, Montana. This is a deviation from what the game normally does as each title that has its own setting and characters and typically far from the United States. The game will be heavily focusing on the modern Montana as opposed to the greater politics of the country. The team behind the video game had to visit the state to get a feel of its appearance, wildlife, and vibe. The team also incorporated fishing as it is part of Montana's culture.

One of the most notable things that is new with "Far Cry 5" is that it embraces co-operative play far more than its previous incarnations. Players can go through the entire game playing in co-op mode progressing alongside their friends. It will also have a buddy system for players opting not to play co-op. They just pick a computer companion either in human or animal form. There is still no word what sort of DLC (downloadable content) "Far Cry 5" will have, but instead it will have a Season Pass which is included in the video game's Gold Edition.

"Far Cry 5" is slated to drop on Feb. 27, 2018 with a worldwide release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and a PC version for Windows.
