'FIFA 17' release date: Game's launch planned for September

 EA Games

The "FIFA 17" release date has already been announced by Electronic Arts, according to N4BB.com. The 17th installment from this franchise will be utilizing a different game engine, which is said to provide more realistic gameplay and facial expressions for various characters in the game. On Sept. 27, they will release the "FIFA 17" game for North American citizens on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC platforms. For the rest of the world, it will be out by September 29.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, there are also new announcement trailers leaked online. The trailers provide a glimpse of the game's brand-new grahics, which provide a touch of realism.

EA's CEO Andrew Wilson stated that this new game will "be a major leap forward in personalization, immersion and competition".

This is largely thanks to the new FrostBite engine, which was also used for the "Need for Speed," "Dragon Age," "Battlefield" and "Star Wars: Battlefront" titles from EA. The previous engine used by the "FIFA" franchise was the Ignite engine. It performed well, but EA has been planning to convert everything to FrostBite for some time now. This appears to be a great investment for the company, since fans have been greatly anticipating the new game's graphics ever since the trailer was released.

GameSpot also mentions that at the E3 press conference, they revealed details about the Journey Story Mode within the new game. It was mentioned that players will be able to live in an ultra-realistic football world and they will be able to meet characters full of animation and depth. For the first time, Premier League managers are also going to be available in the game.

The executive producer for Electronic Arts, David Rutter, said, "Frostbite unlocks a whole new world of possibilities for the FIFA franchise and its fans. We have never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences we are going to deliver in FIFA 17. Frostbite delivers authentic, true-to-life action, takes players to new football worlds, and introduces fans to characters full of depth and emotion."

Pre-ordering is now an option for interested fans, with the new game available in Standard, Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions. This new game will include personal contributions from actual footbal players, like Anthony Martial, James Rodriguez, Marco Reus and Eden Hazard. More details are expected to be available after the game's creators announce updates and the full reveal at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 in Los Angeles.
