New details about the upcoming "Final Fantasy VII Remake" have been released, thanks to a Japanese blog who shared the information.

Fans are excited to know when the game will arrive as it was previously reported in Gematsu that "Final Fantasy VII Remake" will be released in episodes rather than a full game.

Now, according to the details found in Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation, shared by Hachima Kikou and translated by Gematsu, it remains to be seen if the game will be released during "Final Fantasy's" 20th anniversary on Jan. 31, 2017.

However, game director Tetsuya Nomura hinted that more information about the game will be released once "World of Final Fantasy" and "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD" will be launched in 2016.

Apart from the release date details, Nomura and game producer Yoshinori Kitase also shared other information about the much anticipated game.

"Final Fantasy VII Remake" will have full voice overs. The same voice actors will be used for characters featured in "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children," but new voice actors will be picked to voice characters that didn't appear in the film.

Game maps were also discussed but the team said they will not dwell so much on considering if the game will be an open-world or sandbox type. Nomura is more focused on the environment in the gameplay and how the characters will interact with them.

Minigames will also be part of the upcoming game as they were well received by fans, but the team still needs to think about how to go around them.

"There were a lot of things from big to small, but we need to consider a bit whether it's necessary to create them all with the latest technology," said Nomura.

"Final Fantasy VII Remake" is still in its preliminary stages and will take time to implement the ideas surrounding the game.

The game will release first in PlayStation 4.
