Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will fight again, says trainer Freddie Roach [VIDEO]

Talks about a possible Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao rematch simply won't die down and now, even the Filipino boxer's legendary trainer Freddie Roach is joining in.

As far as he is concerned, a rematch between Pacquiao and Mayweather is still possible and he believes that it could happen. But how could such happen with Mayweather already announcing his retirement and Pacquiao expected to follow on April 2016?

As far as Mayweather is concerned, Roach believes that money can still lure him out into the ring. Despite many not keen on seeing a replay of their celebrated mega "bust" bout last May, the legendary trainer believes that the fight will still draw in some revenue, but perhaps not as record setting.

How about Pacquiao? While Pacquiao has already announced that he will be retiring after his return and farewell bout, Roach is not totally closing the doors. He believes that like Mayweather, the hunger for boxing in Pacquiao will still persist.

Of course, this is getting a bit way ahead, with Pacquiao yet to name his opponent for 2016. There are two fighters in the mix — Amir Khan and Terence Crawford — and to date, there is no official word on whom between the two the Filipino boxer will fight.

Pacquiao has made it clear that he has no preference between the two, although Crawford seems like a more interesting draw than Khan.

Khan is confident he will get the call, but not too many share his enthusiasm. According to some observers, the punching power of Khan is up in the air and such may just catapult Crawford as the likely opponent.

Crawford, on the other hand, is a rising boxer who is looking for a big name fight and this could probably be that chance. He marveled against Dierry Jean last time out and considering he is also under the wings of Bob Arum, Crawford could be the more sensible choice.
