'Fresh Off the Boat' season 4 spoilers: Paula Abdul to appear as guest star in holidays episode

As the television sitcom "Fresh Off the Boat" continues on its fourth season, the show will be introducing singer and former "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul as a guest star in one of the show's upcoming episodes.

Adbul will appear in the show's holiday episode titled "Do You Hear What I Hear," where she will play a choir instructor named Holly. She will arrive at the scene to try to get the village Christmas carolers into great singing shape.

Jessica (Constance Wu) will ask Holly to become the person-in-charge of the Christmas production. However, after seeing Holly work with the choir, Jessica will not be able to help but question her own Christmas spirit.

Aside from Abdul, "Fresh Off the Boat" has seen a number of other guest appearances. George Takei, Vanna White, and Pay Sajak are some of the actors included in the guest roster of the show.

"Do You Hear What I Hear" is slated for an airing in December. However, television network ABC has not divulged the exact date yet.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of the show will see the Huang family visit Jessica's family in Houston. The visit is prompted by the passing away of Jessica's aunt.

In the episode, Jessica's boys will be meeting her dad for the first time. Loius (Randall Park), on the other hand, will observe the distant relationship between Jessica and her family members. Due to this, he will make it is personal mission push his wife to get closer to her father.

Meanwhile, the boys will be struggling with some adult problems. Evan decides to make Eddie the executor of his will. All because of this, Emery and Eddie gets into a fight over which of them is the better older brother to Evan.

"Fresh Off the Boat" airs Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.
