Fans of HBO's "Game of Thrones" will be happy to know that yet another familiar face will make a comeback when the show returns for its penultimate season.

The feisty leader of House Mormont, Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey) — also known as Lady of Bear Island and House Stark's staunchest supporter — will be back, according to photos leaked by Watchers of the Wall.

The photo showed Ramsey in costume, and the shot looks like it was taken on set at Corbet, Northern Island.

Another familiar face was also spotted but not on set. Actor Jack Gleeson — who famously played one of the series' most hated villains King Joffrey Baratheon — appeared at the New York Comic Con to share his theory on how the series will end.

According to Gleeson, it is possible that in the end that none of the contenders would actually land the Iron Throne as it will be melted down to use as a weapon against the White Walkers who are dead set on entering Westeros, Parent Herald reported. It can be recalled that only two elements can destroy Whitewalkers. Valyrian Steel and Dragonglass, both of which are scarce in the Kingdom.

While the battle for the Iron Throne heats up among the women of the Seven Kingdoms, it should be noted that they also have a bigger problem looming beyond the wall.

Still, a showdown is expected to happen between now Queen Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and the Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) as the latter prepares to storm King's Landing with an army of Dothraki and Unsullied warriors on a fleet supplied by the Greyjoys of Iron Islands.

Meanwhile, yet another female force is expected to launch an attack on Cersei as Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg) forms an alliance with Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma) and the Sand Snakes of Dorne, who are also thirsting for revenge after Cersei killed their family members.
