GeForce GTX 1050 and the GTX 1050 Ti release date, specs leaked in Chinese website listing

Over the past few weeks, there have been numerous reports that have tried to predict the full hardware specifications and features of NVIDIA's latest mid- to low-end graphics cards, the GeForce GTX 1050 and the GTX 1050 Ti. Now, several reports have cited a leak from a Chinese website which allegedly lists down all the important details regarding the upcoming devices.

According to the leak from HWBattle.com, the brand new cards from NVIDIA are decent products that are priced competitively for the low to mid-end market. It also reveals that both the GTX 1050 and the GTX 1050 Ti will be running NVIDIA's latest GP107 Pascal-based GPUs which is reportedly going to be a step up from its predecessor.

While the cards themselves are not going to be running any triple A titles at "Ultra" settings, they will be able to provide enough firepower to play casual games, MMORPGs, MOBA games, and triple A titles at modest settings.

The GTX 1050 Ti is the more powerful of the two and is meant to be a replacement for the GTX 750 Ti and the GTX 950. The GTX 1050 Ti is running 758 CUDA Cores and has a total of 4 GB of 128-bit GDDR5 memory. The card's base clock is at 1290MHz and can be boosted up to 1382MHz. The GTX 1050 Ti is also expected to come with a TDP below 75W, which means no PCIe power connectors are necessary for it to function.

The GTX 1050,on the other hand, is a watered down version of the Ti and has fewer CUDA cores at just 640. It also has a smaller amount of GDDR5 memory at just 2 GB. Base clock for the GTX 1050 is 1354MHz and 1455MHz when boosted.

Both cards are expected to be on store shelves around mid to late October. The GTX 1050 Ti will be priced at around $149, while the slower GTX 1050 will cost at least $119.
