The "Girl Meets World" season 3 premiere date is yet to be determined by Disney Channel, although the show is expected to return this spring, with production well underway.

That being said, Riley and the gang could be back for their new adventure as early as this month. There have been previous reports, however, that point to a June premiere.

While the premiere date is still unconfirmed, what's guaranteed is that production for "Girl Meets World" season 3 is in full swing. In fact, writers of the hit Disney Channel series took to Twitter to announce that the first half of the season is complete.

"Today we begin the second half of what we think is our best season so far. Can't wait until you see it. And a surprise beginning," the writers stated.

In another tweet, they also outlined what the various arcs for "Girl Meets World" season 3 will be all about and how many episodes they will take to put across. They revealed that four episodes will be about how Riley, Maya and friends "adjust to high school." Another four will see them "resolve the not triangle" and the next four will see how they "adjust to each other." The "Girl Meets World" writers also promised that in season 3, "People will change people," implying that high school will really be tough for the group of friends.

Of course, changes won't be limited to the characters. The show's setup will get a makeover too as it was revealed that the upcoming season of "Girl Meets World" will have a new opening sequence, which fans are excited to see.

Whether "Girl Meets World" season 3 will premiere this month or the next, fans won't have to wait long to watch the crew formally cross the thresholds of high school.

Just recently, a promo for the new season was released. The group was seen struggling with the bigger challenges present in their new school including the big crowd, bullies and even themselves.
