Henry Cavill morphs into Superman in 'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice' movie

 Warner Bros.

Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Metropolis' Man of Steel in the new movie "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" alongside Ben Affleck. He has been busy filming the movie, and fans got all excited as new photos of Cavill in action circulated online.

The photos are of the British actor sporting the Clark Kent look along with director Zack Snyder. Lately, the cast and crew of the movie have been wrapping up mostly Batman's scenes, building hedges to keep out stalkers, and shooting on the Wayne Manor with the Batmobile appearance as a bonus. And it seems that it is only now that Cavill is stepping into the set as Clark Kent again.

In the photos, the 31-year old Hollywood hunk is in the character of Superman's alter ego — wearing his signature glasses, a brown jacket over a plaid shirt, and khakis, as he carries his messenger bag around what Inquistr remarked as Gotham City (which is in Detroit in real life, by the way). Furthermore, the site also reports about Cavill's body double walking around the set, indicative of some kind of action scenes underway.

Cavill has also retweeted a photo of himself as Clark Kent in glasses and a thick coat. "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is rumored for a March 2016 release.

The filming of upcoming superhero movie may not be too hectic for the Superman actor as he reportedly never forgets to spend time with her equally busy girlfriend, Gina Carano. While the couple may be tight-lipped about the real status of their relationship, Kpopstarz believes that "the silence suggests that the two are going strong." The site tagged the pair as the World's Fittest Couple as Carano has MMA aspirations on top of her film engagement with Robert de Niro slated in October.

Cavill, on the other hand, not only has his Superman physique but he also has his hands full with his commitment to a Guy Ritchie film, and the responsibilities of being appointed as the first Ambassador for Durrell Wildlife Charity.
