Jennifer Lawrence revealed a brand new pixie hair cut today.

The 23-year-old posted a photo of her new look to Facebook on Wednesday, which showed her with much shorter hair dyed in a lighter shade of blonde.

Along with a picture of her new hairdo, Lawrence wrote: "Headed up north for ‪#‎GLOBALFANDAY with The Hunger Games Catching Fire cast. Follow this page all day for updates!"

The film is set to premiere Nov. 11 in the UK and Nov. 22 in theaters across the world. The sequel is expected to rake in nearly $1 billion at the box office.

The actress stars as Katniss Everdeen in the "Hunger Games" series in which she sports a much darker hair color.

Lawrence won an Academy Award for Best Actress this year for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. She starred alongside Bradley Cooper, sparking rumors that the onscreen couple was dating.

Over 50 actresses auditioned for the part of Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games series. Producer Nina Jacobsen recently told Variety that they did not consider any other actresses once Lawrence auditioned. "We had a lot of wonderful actresses at the audition, but it was game over at that point," she said.

Stars of the "Hunger Games" movie are now on a promotional tour across the States.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Victory Tour stopped in Miami, Florida, and will continue to Philadelphia, Houston and Minneapolis.
