Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are back in the U.S. for a short time, and while their homecoming was enough reason for their family to celebrate, another cause for celebration has come for the Duggars and the Dillards with the 24-year-old reality TV star's success in the professional midwife examination.

Derick shared the good news through the family blog on Friday, Sept. 18, telling their followers that "after the 7-hour comprehensive exam for certified professional midwives, his wife is now 'Jill Dillard, CPM.'" Derick revealed that after the whole process, which included "lots of studying," being on call for multiple births, and the examination, among others, his wife's hard work has finally paid off.

"If anybody knows how much hard work it has been for her, it's me. Jill has been very disciplined and sacrificed a lot to get to this point," he wrote.

The family congratulated Jill on passing the exam as she, holding their son baby Israel, and Derick posed for an Instagram snap with a handmade banner that reads, "Congrats Jill, Soooo excited for you! Great job!"

The couple also bonded with Jill's siblings this weekend as they dressed as pirates for Talk Like a Pirate Day. The mother of one took to her photo sharing app to document the day and posted a photo of the couple with their baby, which she captioned, "Headed to @krispykreme for some free donuts on #PirateDay today!" Jill also shared a short video of them with her younger siblings, and each of them was holding a box of donuts.

Meanwhile, a source told E! News that the couple is home for a while before they go on a new mission. The insider added that Jill and Derick are training and preparing for the new mission and that the couple is looking to do missionary work on a full time basis.
