'Kingdom Hearts 3' news: 'Big Hero 6' inclusion; new video to be shown in D23 Japan

Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts III will feature a San Fransokyo world, with all the characters coming along.

People who are curious as to what "Kingdom Hearts 3" has to offer should troop to the D23 event in Japan on Nov. 3. Japan, which is hosting Disney's 2015 D23 Expo, is the place to be for people who want to see new footage of the game, to be shown during the Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater Event.

The event, according to Gematsu, will be held like a talk show with special guests and lots of unique footage — never-before seen, perhaps — of the game. Those interested can head over to the official event page for more information.

Meanwhile, game company Square Enix revealed during the recent D23 Expo held in North America that there is an incoming world in-game which is based on the 2014 movie "Big Hero 6." Forbes reveals that the events in the game will happen following the events in the film. Baymax will reportedly aid Sora on his quest. This should be a unique experience to those familiar with the game and the movie, and also to casual gamers.

San Fransokyo is also said to be a background for the adventure in "Kingdom Hearts III." Baymax and Hiro will be joined by other characters from the movie's world as well.

As for the enemy, GameSpot says that players should expect to see another Baymax — this one the inactive Baymax that was left in the portal seen in the film. This body will reportedly be manipulated by the Heartless to become a Dark Baymax.

The game, first announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2013, has no release date as of yet.
