A political pathway just opened up for television star Kris Jenner. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star received one vote to be included on the list of candidates for the seat of Alabama Senator.

This is the most recent news involving the Kardashian - Jenner family and politics after Kim's husband Kanye West expressed his interest in running for president in 2020. Jenner received one vote as well as other celebrity icons such as Ellen DeGeneres, Mel Brooks, and Ben Shapiro. Jenner has not released any comment about the vote she got and if she is ever planning on entering politics at all.

Alabama is looking for the perfect candidate to fill up the position vacated by Jefferson Session who is now the United States Attorney General under Donald Trump's administration.

Many netizens quickly made fun of the news indicating that Jenner has no business engaging in politics. One person commented on Facebook, saying, "I think this is more a statement on just how ridiculous the final choices were."

There is also a little bit of politics in the recent Instagram post of Jenner. The mother of the Kardashian and Jenner household posted a collage picture of her family to express what she is thankful for in 2017. The collage includes a photo of former United States President Barack Obama with her wife Michelle and daughters, Malia Ann and Sasha.

Jenner simply captioned the photo with an appreciation message for their fans and to wish everyone a great 2018. There were no signs nor hints included that she might be interested in politics. Many of her followers are wondering about Jenner's reason for including the Obama family in the collage.  A Marie Claire report said there is a good chance that Jenner might be interested in politics.

Kris and the other member of the Kardashian - Jenner Family are recognized as influential individuals in the fashion, television, and beauty industries. Jenner, however, has zero experience when it comes to politics and has never shown any interest in the past.
