After months of speculation on whether or not makeup mogul and reality television star Kylie Jenner was indeed pregnant, she finally announced the news on her social media a few days after her daughter's birth. Jenner is only a few weeks postpartum, but there are recent reports that she has lost a considerable amount of pregnancy weight. However, it is likely that these rumors are largely untrue.

The 20-year-old gave birth to her daughter Stormi Webster on Feb. 1. The baby's father is Jenner's boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster.

According to new rumors, the new mother has managed to lose the weight she gained during her pregnancy after only three weeks postpartum. A number of websites have reported that anonymous "sources" have been opening up about Jenner's weight loss.

According Life & Style magazine, Jenner, apparently, weighed 180 pounds during her pregnancy and has now lost 35 pounds. Life & Style also went on to quote another source who said that Jenner still felt "fat" even after "losing such a huge amount of weight in such a short period of time."

The Inquisitr also reported that Jenner lost 25 of those 35 pounds in 10 days by following a strict diet supervised by her older sister Kim Kardashian. According to the media outlet, a source claimed that Jenner was on a low-carb diet that allowed her only 1,000 calories a day.

However, the website Gossip Cop has cast doubt on all these claims. Gossip Cop, a site that fact-checks celebrity news, describes the Life & Style report as deceptive. After all, Jenner herself has never actually spoken with Life & Style, nor to any other outlet that reported on her alleged post-baby weight loss.

Gossip Cop also found that the photos of Jenner included in the Life & Style article did not give concrete evidence of her pregnancy weight, nor were they taken merely weeks after Jenner gave birth. One photo of Jenner in a bikini, which  Life & Style claimed was taken postpartum and even used for its March issue's cover photo, was actually taken in 2016 as part of a swimsuit ad campaign.

Life & Style's sources have also said that Jenner felt "'fat,' 'gross,' and 'disgusting,'" during her pregnancy, prompting her to hide from the public eye. However, Gossip Cop points out, Jenner herself wrote in her birth announcement that she kept her pregnancy private to "prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how."

According to Gossip Cop, since the Life & Style article made a claim that was so easily disproven by Jenner's own announcement, the article itself has questionable credibility.
