Lauren Silverman pregnant with Simon Cowell's baby: 10 weeks along but still married to husband Andrew [REPORT]

Outspoken American Idol judge Simon Cowell in Nairobi, Kenya, during the filming of charity special Idol Gives Back in January.

Lauren Silverman, wife of real estate mogul Andrew Silverman, is reportedly expecting a baby with Simon Cowell.

The socialite has been friends with the X-Factor judge for many years and have often spent holidays with him.

Silverman's relationship with Cowell turned into a romance after her relationship with her husband ended last year.

The 36-year-old is said to be 10 weeks along in the pregnancy, although technically she is still married to Andrew.

A source told US Weekly: "Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while. As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close."

The brunette recently told friends that she wanted to marry Cowell. "Lauren loves Simon, she says that she wants to marry him. And with the baby, she's going the right way about it! But I think this could be really good for Simon."

Cowell and Silverman have been dating for about a year and were even spotted house-hunting together in Los Angeles, according to reports.

The 53-year-old music mogul had previously stated that he doesn't want children. In an interview in 2009, he said, "God, no. I couldn't have children. If I had them here drawing on the walls I'd go nuts. With kids, you've got a routine you can't escape from. You've got to be up at a certain time. Got to listen. When all you want to do is sit in a corner thinking."

However, in an interview in April this year, Cowell seemed to have opened up to the idea of having children, Daily Mail reports. "If I knew that I could be - how can I put this delicately - faithful. I do like kids. I haven't ruled it out," he said. He admitted that he would like to have a daughter of his own. "I do like kids, I'm just not sure I'd be any good for the first six months. I don't think I'd adopt because I'd rather have my own. I'd have to say I'd like a little girl."
