Los Angeles Lakers news 2015: Head coach Byron Scott sees 'more settled' offense with Kobe Bryant around

The Los Angeles Lakes are one of the most disorganized teams right now, and head coach Byron Scott knows that for a fact. But he does look at a bright side though, seeing Kobe Bryant on the floor and in a way stabilizing everything.

Scott, who has been getting all sorts of heat for his decisions and, of course, poor showing of the Lakers sees a bright spot with Bryant on the floor. He terms it as a "more settled" offense, as reported by Los Angeles Times, although there are different ways to approach the claim.

One is that it somehow justifies the claim of most that Scott cannot reach the transition stage where the younger players need to see more action as the franchise tries to move on from the Bryant era.

The other one, of course, is somehow indicating that Kobe will be playing a whole lot more despite the Black Mamba's plan to let the younger players learn and make actual game decisions.

At 2–9 as of this writing, the Lakers are undoubtedly far from impressive. Try as they might, the Lakers aren't even close to being a team showing progress, despite having some promising young players in Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle, and rookie D'Angelo Russell.

It makes one wonder, what if Kobe is unable to play? What if he suddenly calls it a career? Worst case scenario, what if he suffers another major injury? What will Scott think of next?

It is a given that Kobe, like it or not, does stabilize the offense of the Lakers because he has done that for most part of his career. But being content with that hardly qualifies as an excuse nor becomes a reason to look up to better days ahead.

Having Bryant around is neat for now, but what if he goes? What will Scott do at that point?

More recently, I’ve enjoyed Christian movies Unsung Hero and Jesus Revolution on limited release in the UK, but it’s rare for such films to make the multiplex chains.
