The midseason finale of "Major Crimes" is about to air in a few weeks, and fans of the show can expect some familiar faces to guest star in the episode.

"Brothers and Sisters" actress Patricia Wettig is heading behind the bench on the TNT show. The star will play Superior Court Judge Virginia Ryan, a woman nicknamed "Fry-'Em Ryan" for her tough-as-nails courtroom approach. In the episode titled "Fifth Dynasty," her past decision to refuse a deal for two Aryan bikers facing a third strike has dire consequences, and she will need the help of Major Crimes. The team will have to work through her case load to solve the crime.

Malcolm Jamal-Warner will also be guest starring in "Fifth Dynasty," reprising his role as Lt. Chuck Cooper. Warner is known for playing Theodore "Theo" Huxtable on the long-running classic television series "The Cosby Show." His most recent TV role was on last season's "American Horror Story: Freak Show" where he played Angus T. Jefferson. He was also featured on several episodes of "Sons of Anarchy."

Here is the complete synopsis for "Fifth Dynasty," which will air on Aug. 10:

"After Major Crimes identifies a murder victim as the son of State Superior Court Judge known for being tough on criminals, the squad hunts through her current case load, which involves an Aryan motorcycle gang, and much to their surprise, connected to the disappearance of a thirteen-year old boy."

Prior to the midseason finale, one more episode will air on Aug. 3 titled "Wish You Were Here." In this episode, the division investigates an online video of a battered and bloodied, half-naked man walking down the street, and armed with a gun. Meanwhile, Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin) at last finds Alice Herrera's brother and reaches out to Capt. Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) for help.

"Major Crimes" airs Mondays at 9/8c on TNT.
