A familiar Western Conference matchup happens this Saturday when thriving teams the Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs collide at the AT&T Center.

The Grizzlies may have struggled early in the season but they are heading to the match against San Antonio on a four-game winning streak.

In their last win, the Grizzlies topped the struggling Houston Rockets 96–84 at home to improve to 7–6 and currently be on the fifth spot in the Western Conference standings.

Memphis point guard Mike Conley Jr. again shone in the victory, tallying 26 points, three rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Another standout performance was from center Marc Gasol who recorded a triple-double having 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, that also came along with four steals.

Providing the scoring from the bench were forward Matt Barnes and point guard Mario Chalmers who led the way, scoring 12 and 10 points, respectively.

If the Grizzlies are coming off a win, the Spurs suffered their first loss in seven games as they were defeated by the last team in the conference, the New Orleans Pelicans, 104–90.

The defeat to New Orleans was only the Spurs' (9–3) third this season, with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Washington Wizards the only other teams to win against them.

Leading the way for San Antonio in the loss was 2014 Finals Most Valuable Player Kawhi Leonard who had 22 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.

Following him was offseason signing All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge who had a double-double 20 points and 11 rebounds, also recording two assists, and one block.

The Spurs played without veteran guard Manu Ginóbili who is nursing a hip injury while veteran big man Tim Duncan finished the game without a single rebound, a first in his 19-year career.

The game between the Grizzlies and Spurs will take place Today, Nov. 21, at 8:30 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here.
