For a while now, the tech world has been hearing a lot about the Lumia 850, the next Windows 10 device Microsoft is expected to put out. There are tons of reports about the device's specs but it is only today that renders of the upcoming smartphone made the rounds.

The leaked images came from tipster OnLeaks (who claimed he obtained them from a trusted source) and they showed the device donning a metal frame and a very slim build (6.92 mm), possibly one of the thinnest in the entire Lumia lineup. It also looks very sleek, with its smooth white sheath.

The rest of the Microsoft Lumia 850's minimalist appearance matches its predecessors, complete with the rounded edges. On the back, it has a classy black metallic Microsoft logo right under a slightly protruding camera that has a LED flash above it.

Another prolific leakster, Evan Blass, chimed in to add more details about the leaked Lumia phone. He said that the device features a gold trim and the logo is gold and not black like the one seen on the renders. The leakster also stated that the device will have a front-facing flash.

As for the rest of the specs of the Microsoft Lumia 850, previous leaks and reports reveal that it will come in a 5-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, making it a midranger despite its premium look.

It will reportedly offer 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage space that can be expanded with a microSD card. The smartphone will purportedly boast a 10-MP Zeiss rear-facing camera as well as a 5-MP front-facing selfie snapper, which will both get LED flash, if the claims of Evan Blass are on point.

There's no info on when the Microsoft Lumia 850 will make a splash but the tech world should be hearing more about it in the days to come.
