'Mount Your Friends' 3D trailer, release date, news: 'A Good Man is Hard to Climb' out on 2018

Back in 2014, "Mount Your Friends" became a sort of fun casual multiplayer minigame. Developer Daniel Steger apparently did not stop with the game's success there. He recently announced that he will be releasing a 3D version of the game next year.

The announcement was made via a YouTube teaser of the game. The trailer simply showed 3D models of the figures used in the original game with a lot more detail, to say the least. That said, watching the trailer might not be safe to work as even the private parts are a lot more detailed, although it is still covered.

The 2014 game's challenge was simple. Gamers had to make a tower of men with the goat in the middle as a starting point. The first player had to control a ragdoll player by moving its arms and legs, maneuvering the half-naked muscular guy in a way that will allow their character to attach to the goat. The next players will then need to build the tower from there, maintaining balance as one player goes on top of the other. If players fail to extend the tower within the time limit, they are eliminated from the game.

"Mount Your Friends" just seems like any other game in the same physics-driven genre. However, it is undeniably the ambiance that comes with the game, especially with how the models are made and how their body parts move, that makes "Mount Your Friends" memorable.

In the 2014 game, players could customize their characters and their clothes, what little is there. The customization can be extremely random and weird that playing the game becomes a lot more silly.

The new 3D game did not mention a specific date within 2018. Needless to say, when it does come out, players should expect a more challenging gameplay now that it is in 3D.
