Although the promo for "Naruto Shippuden" episode 476 and 477 titled "The Final Battle" was in black and white, the installments, which make up a one-hour special, will be in color when they air.

Director of the "Naruto Shippuden" anime Hayato Date assured via Saiyan Island in the latest issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that fans will get to watch Sasuke and Naruto go at it in full-color.

Colored screenshots from "Naruto Shippuden" episode 476 and 477 were also featured in the scan of the magazine so fans would not have anything to worry about the animation color.

Weekly Shonen Jump also revealed that there will be new opening and ending sequences for "Naruto Shippuden." The former is titled "Empty Heart" performed by Japanese singer Anly.

When an episode of the anime ends, fans will hear Japanese idol group Ayumikurikamaki belt out "Departure Song" to accompany the ending.

It is unclear if these new opening and closing sequences will be aired with "Naruto Shippuden" episode 476 and 477 though. The one-hour special will be big so it will not be a shock if Studio Pierrot accompanies it with new sequences.

The next episodes of the anime will cover chapters 694 to 698 of the "Naruto" manga and will mostly see Naruto and Sasuke fight their heart out. However, those who read the manga will know that both will end up defeated.

The fight will last for a long period of time and will sap the energy of both fighters. In the end, they will agree to work together and free the people from the Infinite Tsukuyomi, which was the plan all along.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 476 and 477 "The Final Battle" airs Thursday, Sept. 29 on TV Tokyo.
