The 2016 NBA drafting season is only a few weeks away, and people are already reading up on rumors about the plans of the Boston Celtics regarding their No. 3 overall pick and draft, Providence College guard Kriss Dunn.

Inquisitr believes that there might be a real chance he will be traded for Jahlil Okafor from the Philadelphia 76ers for this year's new season of NBA. The Celtics were said to have long wanted Okafor for themselves, and it would definitely be a good deal for the 76ers. However, they might still be hesitating to "trade him to a team within their division".

Chatt Sports reports that Dunn, who is a strong and althetic 6'4 guard, would be a great addition to the team. Dunn was able to play a total of 33 games, with an average point score of 16.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists on his last year. These are all impressive numbers,a nd he would be a great defensive boost to the team if he was ever picked to do the switch.

NESN, on the other hand, believes that this deal might not go through since the 76ers are also doing trade talks with the Hawks regarding the Atlanta point guard, Jeff Teague, and the Philadelphia power forward and center, Nerlens Noel. This might mean that the Celtics wouldn't get the person they have been coveting for a while now.

Mass Live relays an interview from Brad Stevens, who states that it would take someone who is "pretty special" to trade him. The Celtics are definitely under pressure to provide their team with someone who is ready for the NBA, since their last season gave them 48 wins. However, team president Danny Ainge says it is better for the team if he would take a long-term approach and pick the best player after a lot of consideration, even if it might take years for the decision.
